JeevanRakshak is a charitable trust.

JeevanRakshak organization’s mission is to build awareness on blood donation and to build a strong network of volunteer blood donors for emergency blood donation. 
JeevanRakshak acts as a bridge between those who need blood and the available volunteer blood donors.

Contacting Blood Donors

In order to ensure privacy JeevanRakshak shall approach only registered volunteer blood donor, who in turn shall approach the needy.

JeevanRakshak is not responsible for the interaction experience of the blood donor with the one in need and vice versa. The onus of providing the contact details of the party which needs blood to the blood donors is on JeevanRakshak. Post that JeevanRakshak does not take any responsibility. JeevanRakshak shall also be not held responsible for any gaps or delays from its end in providing details of the needy to the donors. This is a voluntary service, and JeevanRakshak cannot be held to ransom for not being able to perform to expectation.
JeevanRakshak organization is not responsible for any part in the whole cycle of acting as a bridge between active blood donors and the ones in need of blood. We do not take guarantee of the quality of blood and any complications that might arise thereafter. It is the onus of the one responsible for the patient or the patient itself to get the blood checked before transfusion.

JeevanRakshak is a charitable trust. It does not charge for its services. In case if the blood seekers pay the blood donors, it will be at their sole discretion. Paying or receiving money is against the ethical values of JeevanRakshak. Any monetary dealing between parties will be without the knowledge of JR. JR shall not be held responsible of any situation arising out of this kind of arrangement. JeevanRakshak does not entertain monetary requests from the blood donors as well as the blood seekers. JeevanRakshak abhors the use of charitable life saving service for monetary objectives, and hence will never be part of any commercial activity, and especially so, involving the actually operations of saving a life.

It can only ask for your voluntary support in the form of donations. You are provided a receipt for the same and the amount is officially documented in the accounting books. You are also provided a 50% tax exemption (Under Sec 80G of Income Tax Act 1961) on the donation made.
In case if you do find any commercial activity or any malpractice in life saving operations, by any of the JR associates or people external to JR but using the resources and names of JR for personal motives, please report to info@jeevanrakshak.org
